Meghan, Harry, and Archie Spend Summer with Queen Elizabeth

There will be a Royal Family reunion this summer! After the Sussex family's final engagement in the UK while Meghan, Harry, and Archie return to Canada, the family will return to the UK to spend time with Queen Elizabeth at Balmoral, Queen Elizabeth's retreat in Scotland.

According to the Sunday Times, Meghan and Harry (opens in new tab) have accepted a personal invitation from the Queen and will vacation with her later this year. And Archie, too, will be spending time with his royal grandparents: Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have their own home, named Barker Hall, on the Balmoral estate, and the Sussexes will reportedly be spending time there, too.

No surprise that there is no bad blood between the Queen and the Sussexes: earlier this month, Elizabeth and her grandson discussed Meghan and Harry's resignation as senior royals for four hours, and the Queen (opening with a new tab) reportedly told Harry, "I'm not going to be a part of this.

In addition, a royal source recently denied unsavory rumors that Archie was intentionally left behind in Canada to be separated from the royal family during the Sussex couple's visit to the UK. Bryony Gordon, a columnist for The Telegraph who was present at Princess Meghan's last solo engagement (opens in new tab), said, "The decision to leave Archie behind in Canada was not out of petty spite, as some have reported, but out of concern for his health amid the threat of a global pandemic. It was out of concern for his health amid the threat of a global pandemic," he explained. It appears that a happy summer vacation awaits the royal family!
