Emma Watson Shares Valuable Personal Message on Instagram About Coronavirus Pandemic

Emma Watson does not usually publicize her personal life on Instagram, using it to boost the activities she supports or projects she is working on. However, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, she posted a rare personal message, urging her followers to stay home. 'My grandmother is over 70 and especially susceptible. My mother is a type 1 diabetic and my best friend is a medical professional. #My mom has type 1 diabetes and my best friend is a health care worker." Who are you home for?" Sending love.

Watson then shared a few photos she borrowed from Michelle Obama and suggested ways to "show up for the community during these hard times." Examples" include teaching children you know, donating to food banks, buying gift certificates to local businesses, etc.

Watson has a big birthday coming up on April 15, which she will likely spend in isolation; in November, she spoke to Vogue about turning 30 (opens in new tab) and revealed that she was battling anxiety about the milestone. Because, she said, "all of a sudden, subliminal messages are pouring in bloody fast." People who haven't built a house, don't have a husband, don't have a baby, and are turning 30, who aren't in an incredibly safe and stable place in their careers, or haven't figured things out yet: ...... I'm incredibly insecure."

She also revealed her newfound contentment with being single." I didn't believe in the whole 'I'm single and happy' thing." I was like, 'This is totally made up.' It took me a long time, but I'm so happy. I call it 'self-partnering.'"
