Queen Elizabeth meets with Prince Charles, who contracted coronavirus two weeks ago.

Prince Charles, who recently tested positive for coronavirus, last saw Queen Elizabeth on March 12, a Buckingham Palace spokesman told royal correspondent Rebecca English on Wednesday. The spokesperson would not confirm whether the Queen had tested negative for the virus, but said she was "in good health" and "we are following the appropriate advice regarding her health."

According to the English text, Prince Charles' doctor estimated that he had not been infected before March 13, the day after he last saw the queen. However, their contact "still raises serious questions" about whether Prince Charles transmitted the virus to his mother.

In a statement released Wednesday, a spokesman for Prince Charles' royal family said that the prince is "showing mild symptoms but is otherwise in good health and has been working at home as normal for the past few days." Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall, tested negative for coronavirus. The couple is currently quarantined at their Balmoral residence in Scotland.

A spokesperson added, "As the Prince has had a number of official commitments in his public role over the past few weeks, we are unable to confirm from whom he contracted the virus."
