Meghan Markle and Prince Harry move from Canada to Los Angeles

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made another big move: according to People (opens in new tab), they have moved from Vancouver Island, Canada, to Los Angeles, Princess Meghan's hometown. A source told the magazine that the Sussexes are living in a "secluded mansion" but have naturally not had a chance to explore their new home, as they are refraining from doing so amid the coronavirus pandemic.

As People points out, the move is not entirely unexpected: a source previously commented that "Harry is looking straight ahead to a future with his family" and that "they will spend time in California... He's not looking back," adding.

A big advantage of moving to Los Angeles is that Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, lives there and works as both a social worker and yoga instructor. No doubt Archie will be pleased to have more time with his grandmother!

It was a big week for Sussex news: on Thursday, it was announced that Princess Meghan will narrate Disney's documentary Elephant (opens in new tab), which will launch on Disney+ on April 3. Elephant follows Shani, an African elephant, and her spirited son Jomo as they embark on an epic journey across hundreds of miles of the vast Kalahari Desert. Led by the great patriarch Gaia, the family follows in the footsteps of their ancestors to a lush paradise in the face of brutal heat, dwindling resources, and persistent predators.
