Get ready for a thank you letter. Because I'm about to suggest an activity that will take at least 30 minutes while you are in quarantine. How about watching some of the performances from Elton John's "Living Room Concert for America" broadcast on Sunday to raise funds for those suffering from the coronavirus outbreak? First things first: if you can, donate to Feeding America here (opens in new tab) or to First Responders Children's Foundation here (opens in new tab).

The standout performance of the live streaming event was Billy Eilish's (literally) laid-back acoustic rendition of "Bad Guy." Eilish's vocals are always lovely, but they are especially gorgeous in this clip:

Emcee Elton John urged viewers to take the coronavirus pandemic seriously during the event. He said, "I can't tell you how important it is that you take this pandemic (global pandemic) seriously. Not long ago, we had an infectious disease that was ignored. The disease worsened because we did nothing about it." Too many people forgot compassion and decency, and millions and millions of people lost their lives to AIDS. But this time, we will not let that happen. So stay home for your loved ones."

"We hope this bit of entertainment will feed and fuel your souls. And maybe it will bring you strength."
