Kim and Kourtney Kardashian fight halts production of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"

If you've used the Internet in 2020, you've probably seen the physical fight between Kim and Kourtney Kardashian (opens in new tab). According to Kim, the fight had some pretty serious repercussions: it made Kris Jenner cry and caused so much trouble for the cast and crew of KUWTK that production was suspended for a week.

Kim was called in to Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show: At Home Edition (opens in new tab), where she explained to Fallon exactly how the fight started." I feel like it was some resentment that had built up from Courtney, or that she really didn't want to shoot anymore. She's not the type to make a decision and say, 'OK, guys, I'm not going to shoot,'" she said.

"But she comes to work every day with an attitude and takes it out on everyone from the crew to us, and she doesn't make decisions easily," Kim continued.

"So we just kept pushing her to find out why she was so grumpy."

The tension resulted in a physical altercation. 'I'm not a violent person, but she scratched me really hard. I was bleeding. But when I looked at my arm and saw that she had scratched my whole back, I just slapped her back.

"Courtney and I are obviously fine now, but we stopped production for a week after that," she continued. 'This is not our type of show. We want everyone to be comfortable and safe."

The fight devastated Kris Jenner: "My mom saw the footage and cried," Kim admitted. Kim admitted: "My mom cried when she saw that footage."

Kim also admitted that Courtney had stepped back from filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians. 'She's made the decision to take a break now, and I really think she needs it,' she said. 'I think it's a very good thing for her.'
