Kendall Jenner says she was "mentally fucked" by Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's divorce.

2019 saw Kourtney Kardashian and her sisters Kim and Khloe's relationship deteriorate into physical violence, creating a particularly nasty rift in the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty (see: "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" season 18 season premiere). In the second episode of the season, Kendall Jenner, Khloe, and Courtney's ex-boyfriend Scott Disick (open in new tab) discussed exactly what was happening to Courtney, and Jenner reasoned that it was all due to her breakup with Disick.

Khloe first read out an email she sent Courtney in the spirit of reconciliation. 'One million percent, we need to have a conversation. It doesn't have to be today, it can be anytime, but we can't just let this go on and let bygones be bygones like we normally do,' Chloe said. 'You are someone I love and respect and I want you to always feel good when you are around me. Courtney's reply arrived a full nine hours later, and it was a video of the private plane she was on.

"I think she's extremely self-conscious," Jenner commented. She can't just sit there and be like, "Okay, I was wrong," or "Okay, fuck, I screwed up." Then, after Disick came into the room, Chloe stuffed him. 'We're talking about the coat,' she said. 'She's decided she's the victim in her life. Like everything is someone else's problem. I don't know how this happened, and I feel so bad.

"I know how this happened," Jenner said. 'Honestly, I think it started with [Courtney and Disick's] breakup. After Disick refuted her suggestion, she continued, " What I'm trying to say is that the whole situation could have driven her mentally crazy, and I don't think she could have handled it."

In a subsequent confession, Disick defended his ex-girlfriend. He said, "I think Courtney felt really misunderstood for a long time. A lot of people feel like she's being disrespectful, but she means it. It just doesn't always happen."
