Prince Charles, 71, enters podcasting

Just days after recovering from COVID-19, Prince Charles has already taken up a new hobby: podcasting. Now, it may be a longshot to hope that an active member of the royal family will soon be hosting a real-life podcast (opens in new tab), but a girl can dream. For Meghan Markle is narrating a documentary on elephants (opens in new tab)!

Charles, meanwhile, is lending his voice talents to Westminster Abbey's new podcast. Yes, Westminster Abbey has a podcast: the church launched this podcast after being forced to close due to social distance guidelines.

According to Town and Country (opens in new tab), earlier this week Charles recorded a Gospel reading, John 20:1-18. The reading will be available on the Abbey's podcast feed (opens in new tab) on Easter Day, April 12, at 9 a.m. GMT. It can also be streamed on Canterbury Cathedral's public Easter Day communion service.

The announcement comes at the same time that Prince Charles and his wife Camilla (opens in new tab) are celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary. They first met at a polo match at Windsor Great Park in 1970 and separated when Charles joined the Royal Navy in 1971. After two more breakups, they finally started dating again in the late 1990s and married on April 9, 2005! It sounds like something out of a romance novel.

They took to social media to share a commemorative photo of themselves with Camilla's dogs, Bluebell and Beth. This is the first photo they have taken together since the two separated to quarantine themselves for 14 days after Charles contracted the virus. Warning: very cute.
