Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Donate 100 Meals to L.A. Hospital Staff

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have donated 100 meals to East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital (opens in new tab) in appreciation of Los Angeles health care workers battling the coronavirus pandemic. The campaign, which employs local restaurants that are struggling to stay afloat in the wake of the pandemic to provide meals to healthcare workers, is being rolled out in Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and New York City. Fueling the Fearless, with photos of hospital staff receiving donated meals, Turner and Jonas, and Jonas Brothers manager Phil McIntyre and his wife Shonda McIntyre, with an Instagram caption thanking them. The hospital is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles and serves a very underserved community with limited resources and support." The staff works tirelessly to serve the community and those who are often forgotten," the post read.

The food was prepared by Aliki's Greek Taverna, a family-owned restaurant, Fueling the Fearless said." @alikisgreektaverna and her donors bring a moment of relief to the most grateful staff. One hot meal lets them know we are all in this together."
