Ariana Grande Says She's Not Pleased with People Imitating Her on TikTok

There has been a recent surge of people imitating Ariana Grande on TikTok, but it turns out Grande is not a fan. Specifically, she wrote on her Instagram story that she is opposed to people imitating the high-pitched, dreamy voice of Cat Valentine, her character in "Victorious." We won't link TikTok impressions here, but many of them are teenagers, and no doubt big fans of Grande.

On his Instagram Story, Grande reposted a series of funny videos shared by filmmaker Jordan Firstman. In the clip, Firstman writes, "What if we were to take a moment like a small clip from a movie or TV show. It's like the artist really poured his soul into it, and it took years to make, and it was like an uphill battle the whole time.

Firstman continues. 'What if we took that one moment and re-contextualized it? We would give a completely arbitrary meaning to something that the artist loves so much.

Grande goes on to say, along with this clip, "omega I wonder if this could also be your impression of the Tik Tok Girls with ponytails who think doing a cat Valentine's Day voice and wearing winged eyeliner and sweats is a good impersonation of me.... Because that's really what it looks like..." He writes.

""It diminishes its entire value," I exclaimed," she continued. Ready to post your own Ariana impression?
