Prince Louis of Cambridge turned two years old on Thursday, and as is customary in Cambridge, Kensington Palace released a new (very cute) photo (opens in new tab) of the toddler to celebrate. One thing many royal fans have noticed is that Louis bears a striking resemblance to his mother, Kate Middleton.

According to People, Kate herself made that observation, and she is quite happy about it. A friend of the royal family told the magazine, "Everyone is always commenting on how much Louis looks like Kate." She loves it and thinks it's very nice." She often says that he is the only one of her children who actually looks like her!"

Clearly, Louis has strong Middleton genes, with some pointing out that he looks just like his maternal grandfather, Michael Middleton (opens in new tab). Below is a photo of Michael and Kate's mother Carol at Wimbledon in 2018. Your thoughts.

One more Prince Louis tidbit to close out Friday morning: apparently Prince Louis can't resist the red button and keeps interrupting his parents' video calls. In a BBC interview last week (opens in new tab), Prince William said, "I talk to my whole family online," adding, "It's a great way to stay in touch and see each other."

But Louis is having some problems. William said, "For some reason, he sees the red button and always wants to push the red button."
