Congratulations to! Katherine Schwarzenegger (opens in new tab) has welcomed her first child with husband Chris Pratt.

People (opens in new tab) confirmed the happy news on Saturday, and sources previously told the magazine that the couple wants to "expand their family as soon as possible." Schwarzenegger married Pratt in June 2019 (opens in new tab) after a whirlwind romance.

The due date for Schwarzenegger and Pratt's baby is still unknown, but the news is sure to brighten everyone's weekend.

Rumors that Pratt began dating Schwarzenegger (opens in new tab) began when the two were spotted picnicking together in June 2018; by January 2019, Pratt popped the question (opens in new tab). And just a year after their relationship was first reported, the happy couple tied the knot.

In January 2019, a source revealed to People (opens in new tab)." Instead of mostly enjoying romantic dates alone, early on Chris' son was a very big part of their dating life."

The source continued, "Catherine is like a big kid and loves doing activities with Jack. She loves that Chris is a dad and ....... Seeing Chris with Jack, Catherine was positive early on that Chris was "the one"

As for why their relationship works, a source also told People, "Family is very important to both of them, and there is a spiritual aspect to it.
