What a world we live in when a literal swimsuit model posts a video of herself in a swimsuit only to have herself body-shamed into oblivion. The target is Chrissy Teigen: Chrissy Teigen posted the following video on Saturday, demonstrating that the thirst trap is both very gorgeous and very funny.

Teigen's replies were quickly filled with not-so-happy comments about her (unbelievable) body type, because the Internet is a hellhole. Thankfully, she tweeted a very nice response: "I've lived in squares my whole life, but let me tell you...

Teigen also pointed out that she could be criticized in the same way if she had cosmetic surgery, tweeting. Ummm, you guys will be mad then! I'm happy, John's happy, we're all happy, okay!" He tweeted.

Speaking to Glamour UK (opens in new tab) earlier this year (opens in new tab), Teigen said she examines her body too much. "There are times when I look at my body in the shower and think, 'Oh my God, these girls.' But I don't take aesthetics that seriously right now. "I don't even think of my body as a place to do shit to myself. I already think enough about being mad at myself that I can't add my body to that."
