News of Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's happy pregnancy (opens in new tab) has leaked out against their wishes, Hadid said during an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" last month. ("Obviously, we wish we could have announced it on our own terms, but we're very excited and happy and grateful for your goodwill and support," she told Fallon.) In fact, prior to Sunday, neither Hadid's nor Malik's Instagrams displayed any indication that Hadid was pregnant.

Hadid first mentioned her pregnancy on Instagram on Sunday in a sweet Mother's Day post to her mother Yolanda Hadid. Posting a childhood photo with a pregnant Yolanda (Yolanda was probably pregnant with her youngest child, Anwar, at the time, as Gigi looks about 4 years old), Gigi said she wanted to raise her children as her mother had raised her.

"The best I could ask for," Gigi captioned the photo.
