Board games banned by the Queen to the Royal Family

You guys, this article just made my week, and according to the Express (opens in new tab), there are games the Royal Family won't play while they're in quarantine.

And before anyone says anything, let me tell you, this is not about the Queen being a tyrant or imposing insane restrictions, it's about the (kinda cute?) 2008 (kinda cute?) "Royal Family" game. I'm just basing it on an anecdote, so I'll leave it here: [In December 2008, Prince Andrew attended the Leeds Building Society's newly renovated Albion Street headquarters. The Prince of York was presented with the real estate board game Monopoly to commemorate his visit. [Andrew, however, had to politely decline the game. The Daily Telegraph reported that Andrew explained that the game could cause arguments within the family.

Guys, I love it so much. It has everything I want! In my head, the Queen rules it all and wins every time (or plays the part of the banker, because of course)." Mommy!" And the crying family." Grandma!" "Great-grandma!" The family members yell, "I'm so sorry! Cards and pieces and (eventually) boards flying away. In fact, the only thing that would last would be our family's Monopoly. There are a lot of competitive people in my family, and in my mind, that's exactly what it is.

Seriously, imagine this Monopoly game.

Very intense (keep an eye on Charlotte, I bet she's secretly the best player).
