And the outfit she wore for Wednesday's scheduled SpaceX launch (which was later postponed due to inclement weather) may be the best ever. Perry, who was scheduled to host a pre-launch live streaming for the Discovery Channel and Science Channel, was wearing, as spotted by Perry's style tracker @katyfunkyfashion (opens in new tab), a silver midi dress by Prise Balenciaga and completed the look with silver and blue drop earrings and a silver glitter slingback (both from Balenciaga, naturally). Let's return to the Balenciaga dress for a moment. If you're not too diligent about Instagram comments, you may have missed this super-sweet post from Miranda Kerr, ex-wife of Perry's fiancé Orlando Bloom and mother of Bloom's son Flynn. Carr commented on Perry's post, saying, "Gorgeous mom."

As further evidence that Perry, Kerr, Bloom, Flynn, and future baby Perry-Bloom are a happy blended family, as People reports, Kerr "liked" Perry's Instagram pregnancy announcement in March (opens in new tab). Lovely.
