In the wake of George Floyd's death and the start of protests across the United States and around the world, Jennifer Aniston has quietly donated $1 million to Color of Change (opens in new tab), the largest online racial justice organization in the United States. According to the Mirror (opens in new tab), Brad Pitt matched his ex-wife's donation to the cause and joined the protests in Los Angeles.

"Brad is heavily involved with the charity thanks to Jen and said he would match her donation," a source told the magazine.

Earlier this month, Aniston posted a video of James Baldwin and with it, "My heart ached this week for so many reasons. We need to acknowledge that racism and atrocities in this country have been going on for a long time and are never okay. As allies who want equality and peace, it is our responsibility to make noise, demand justice, educate ourselves on these issues, and most of all, spread love. The 2020 Golden Globes (opens in new tab) sparked rumors (opens in new tab) that Aniston and Pitt, now both single again, might get back together. Pitt told Entertainment Tonight (opens in new tab) that he was "blissfully naive" about the rumors, and a source told ET that the two are good friends again.
