Gabrielle Union shares beautiful Instagram photo with her daughter Kaavia

Gabrielle Union shared a beautiful photo shoot with her 1-year-old daughter, Carvia James Union Wade (opens in new tab), on Instagram on Tuesday. She accompanied the photo with the heartfelt caption: "Protect her. Love them. Support them. Encourage them. Fight for them. #WeAllWeGot," she wrote.

Earlier this week, the Union shared a moving tribute (opens in new tab) to Oluwatoyin "Toyin" Salau, a 19-year-old Black Lives Matter activist from Florida who was murdered shortly after tweeting about a recent sexual assault. (See how to seek justice for Salau here (opens in new tab)) Tallahassee police announced that a 49-year-old man, Aaron Glee Jr. was 19 years old. "She was 19.19. Oluwatoyin "Toyin" Sarau was a 19 year old warrior who fought for the United States," Union wrote on Instagram.

"She reported her sexual assault to the police and was found murdered days later. The horror she faced, the trauma she endured, all before the age of 19. Who cares about little black girls, black teenagers, black women?" Union continued. 'Toyin deserved so much more. She fought for more for all of us. I can't shake it off."

[6 [I am her and she is me. I live to tell the story of being raped at 19. She is not. The work goes on. The fight goes on. The reckoning goes on. Toyin deserves to be here. She was 19. She was a baby. Hold our baby tight. Love her. Protect her. Support her.19. "#BlackLivesMatter"
