The international romance film 365 Dni (365 Days) is basically "50 Shades of Grey" on steroids. The popular Polish novel of the same name was released on Netflix in June, and people had mixed feelings about it. (opens in new tab) I guarantee that 99 percent of them are about that one scene on the boat or Michele Morrone (opens in new tab), who plays the male protagonist.

The movie is about a hot Italian mobster named Massimo who kidnaps an equally hot girl named Laura, played by Anna-Maria Giacurca, and gives her a year to fall in love with him. If she does not fall in love, she goes free. A simple romantic concept, but morally wrong and deeply problematic! Ah, the classic pattern.

Before we start shooting the second film (because after that cliffhanger (open in new tab), we need one), let's learn more about Anna-Maria Zieglicka, the 28-year-old actress from Poland who plays Laura.

Shocking, isn't it? Prior to co-starring with Morrone in this erotic thriller, she had only appeared in one episode of the Polish medical drama "Na dobre i na zle."

This was her first time on screen, although she had appeared in several plays while studying at the Wroclaw-based National Theater School. She said she learned a lot during the filming. According to The Sun (opens in new tab), at a press tour for the film, Sikulkka said, "The biggest surprise while working on this film was that I had to bring out the emotions in myself."

When it came to shooting the more X-rated scenes of the film, it pushed the actress out of her comfort zone. Sikulucca said at the same press tour, "One of the most difficult experiences was overcoming my shyness and being nude on the screen."

Despite what these sex scenes seem to show, she is not dating Morrone, who plays Massimo in the film IRL. Instead, she is cuddling with her lover and theater director Lukasz Wit-Mishawski.

Only one photo of the two is available online, and the actress wants to keep it that way.

She shared an Instagram photo with Wit-Michalowski, writing, "Jedno. Prywatne. i więcej nie będzie. peace and love." This translates to "One, private. And there will be no more. Peace and love. we stan!"

The couple, 18 years apart, met at theater school, where, according to Pomponik (opens in new tab), he now runs a theater project called InVitro Stage in Lublin, Poland. Eska (opens in new tab) According to Eska, Siklukka recently appeared in one of his productions, "Clay of Inna Clay."

The actress explained to New Celia Lifestyle (opens in new tab) that after reading the script, she wasn't sure if she would accept the role.

"I hesitated because it's a very strong subject and it's my debut film," Szyklecka told the Polish publication. 'It took a long time to talk with the creators, to discuss what I feared, what I wanted to avoid, what I was simply afraid of in the world. When I faced them, I knew I was in good hands and that everything would work out."
