Prince Harry reportedly "overcome with guilt" about leaving the royal family.

Prince Harry (opens in new tab) is reportedly struggling with his new life in Los Angeles.

According to Andy Tillett and Dylan Howard, authors of Royals At War: The Inside Story of Harry and Meghan's Shocking Split With the House of Windsor (opens in new tab), America (opens in new tab), adjusting to life in the United States was not as easy as Harry had initially anticipated.

The difficulties Harry is facing in his move are due to a coronavirus outbreak in the United States just as Harry and his wife Meghan Markle (open in new tab) were about to move from their temporary home in Canada (open in new tab) to her home state of California (open in new tab) The outbreak in the U.S. seems to have been largely caused by the coronavirus. According to sources close to the royal family, the pandemic has reminded Harry that "Prince Charles and the Queen will not be around forever" and that he has found it hard to be so far away from his family during this time.

"On top of that, he has cabin fever," a source close to Harry said, and The Sun (opens in new tab) also reports that Harry is "overcome with guilt" about his move.

"It was far from an ideal situation," the source added." Harry has gone from feeling excited about the move to feeling secretly tortured."

Meghan (open in new tab), on the other hand, is reportedly still optimistic about the move in the long run.

"She has assured [Harry] that once things get back to normal, he will love his new life in LA," the source said.

"Meghan wants to take him hiking, and they've talked about the local polo club and how much he'll love surfing."

Whatever they do about their living situation, one can only hope that the entire Sussex family (and the entire royal family) will find a happy solution.
