Kamala Harris becomes the first Black, South Asian, female Vice President-elect

Kamala Harris became the first black and Asian-American woman to be elected vice president of the United States; CNN called the race after declaring Joe Biden the winner in Pennsylvania late Saturday night, November 7 (opens in new tab). This is an incredible moment for our country, including millions of young girls, who have been waiting for this moment to happen.
