The O.C. Swingers is your new favorite chill-inducing podcast.

Fans of murder shows (open in new tab), cult docs, and other equally spine-tingling entertainment rejoice: audiochuck's 10-part series "O.C. Swingers," a Newport Beach plastic surgeon Grant Robichaux follows the ongoing case against the doctor (and Bravo reality star for any fans of "The American Male's Online Dating Rituals") and his girlfriend and substitute teacher, Selissa Riley.

In 2018, the couple was accused of drugging and raping the woman and recording the act on their cell phones (open in new tab). Prosecutors at the time (open in new tab) said there were more than 1,000 videos supporting the charges, but in February 2020, Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer "found not a single piece of evidence, video or photograph that shows an unconscious or incapacitated woman being sexually assaulted." He filed a motion to dismiss all charges. The couple vehemently denied the charges, claiming they were swingers and not criminals, and their lawyer stated that the allegations had "destroyed" their lives.

Superior Court Judge Gregory Jones did not immediately grant the motion to dismiss the suit. If not dismissed, the charges would continue and the seven women would have the opportunity to tell their stories.

"Were Grant Robicheaux and Selissa Riley the "Bonnie and Clyde of drugged girls," as one victim told detectives, or were they sexually liberated swingers who were framed by a prosecutor greedy for a conviction? Justin Herman, writer and host of the series, asks that question in the trailer. Herman, creator of the podcasts "The Baron of Botox" and "Broken Harts" and former editor of ELLE and Glamour, explores this shocking case in a new series released today.

The trailer can be heard below, and the first two episodes can be found on audiochuck (open in new tab) and Spotify (open in new tab).
