Succession" Season 4: Everything We Know So Far

Grab your Monopoly board and hide your dick pics (who knows) - the Lloyds are back for more backstabbing and betrayal. In this article, everything we know about "Succession" Season 4.

In the Season 3 finale of "Succession," Tom Wamsgans (and by extension, his cousin Greg) betrayed Shiv to get in Logan's good graces, shocking viewers and even the cast. Tom's decision allowed Logan to secure enough of a stake in Wester Royco to sell the company to GoJo.

According to Deadline, the finale drew 1.7 million viewers, nearly 50% more than the season 2 finale.

Yes, HBO announced in late October that the hit HBO show had been renewed for a fourth chapter, just one week after the season 3 premiere. With each season of Succession, Jesse Armstrong has continued to exceed our expectations, drawing us deeper into the Roy family with his unforgettable wit, humanity, and precision. This season is definitely no exception, and we couldn't be more excited about what lies ahead in the upcoming season."

There was a two-year gap between Season 2 and Season 3 of Succession, but since the long hiatus was due to a pandemic, it seems that fans will not have to wait that long for the continuing episodes. In a recent interview, star Brian Cox (who tends to be the most detailed about the series) told GQ UK that the show will begin shooting again in June 2022, and the writers plan to return to work in January 2022. 'I was surprised because I thought they were going to resume in November,' he said. But I think they need a break. I mean, they've worked so hard on this (series), I think they need space," Cox said.

One can only hope, but in the meantime, Nicholas Braun's Instagram will keep us entertained.

In an interview with Deadline, show creator Jesse Armstrong teased the plot of some of the HBO drama's upcoming episodes, saying that Logan is neither loyal nor trustworthy, so Tom's decision may come back to bite him in the ass. He hinted. (Armstrong, however, was mostly tight-lipped, citing a lot of discussion in the writers' room before he could clarify anything.)

And speaking with Entertainment Weekly, actress Sarah Snook suggested that Shiv has "a lot of soul-searching to do" next season. 'My mother left me. My father was revealed to be the devil, and my husband made a deal with the devil. So I have nowhere to turn. And really, will I run to my brothers? ...... Where is a safe harbor?"

Armstrong also spoke to IndieWire about Greg's decision to side with Tom in the finale and how it affects his character development: "I think that Greg is not uninterested in wielding power or capitalizing I think we've learned that Greg is not interested in wielding power or gaining capital. I think we've learned that Greg is not uninterested in wielding power or gaining capital.
