Zombies on a train, zombies in a run-down apartment, zombies in the Middle Ages...... Netflix's latest hit K-drama, "They're All Dead," puts a new spin on Korea's outstanding zombie content, following a group of high school students who are unable to escape the center of a deadly outbreak. Based on WEBTOON's popular digital comic "Now at Our School" by Joo Dong-geun, the students of Hyosan High School must figure out how to survive when their neighborhood is shut down.

As for the cast, the series brings together some of Korea's most talented young actors and well-known stars to play the adults. For those who have already drawn comparisons to "Squid Game," the drama even features one of its breakout stars. Here is everything we know about the cast of "Death Penalty for All".

As a student, Jung-sang spends most of his time with his neighbor On-jo and his male friends at school (Soo-hyuk, Kyung-su, etc.). He also has a fondness for Onjo.

Yoon Chanyeon debuted in 2013 and won the MBC Drama Award for Best Child Actor for the drama Mama a year later. Since then, the young star has also appeared in Dr. Romantic, Still 17, Dr. John, and Nobody Knows.

Onjo is a popular neighbor and best friend of Mr. Jung's, although she has feelings for Suhyuk. When she is attacked by zombies, she uses the knowledge she learned from her firefighter father to save her friends.

18-year-old actor Park Ji-hoo is best known for his role in the film Hummingbird House, TK. He has also appeared in the dramas Sweet Revenge 2 and Beautiful World. She will next appear in the drama Little Women, in which she co-stars with Kim Go-eun.

Suhyuk, a popular athlete, is involved in a love triangle when the show starts. Onjo likes him, but does not want to get in the way of Ms. Jung's feelings. In any case, he has his eye on Nam-ra, the class president.

Rising actor Park Solomon, better known as Romong, debuted in the 2014 dramas Bride of the Century and Four Legendary Witches; he is best known for his portrayal of high school student Jiheun in 2017's Sweet Revenge, and has a role in the 2019 Chinese drama Lookism.

Namra, the class president and high achiever, is mostly quiet and keeps to herself, although Suhyuk tries to overcome her barriers. While on the run from zombies, she and Suhyuk form a special bond.

Since her debut in 2017, Cho Yi-hyun has appeared in hit dramas and films, including both seasons of Hospital Playlist and the psychological thriller Transformation. He recently won the KBS Drama Award for Best Couple for "School 2021" with Kim Yo-han.

Nayeon is a rich kid who thinks poor kids are beneath her. She is also impatient and selfish, and cares more about her own survival than anyone else's.

Lee Yoo-mi returned to Netflix after gaining attention for her role as Ji-young (Player 240) in the international hit Squid Game. Lee Yoo-mi has appeared in films and dramas since 2010: she has also appeared in films and dramas such as Repeat the Year and My Hollow Love.

Gyeong-su is Ms. Jung's best friend and a popular student at school, but often clashes with Nayoung.

Ham Sung Min has been steadily making her mark since her debut as a child actor in 2005, appearing in several popular dramas. The young star has appeared in Goblin, Sweet Revenge, My ID is Gangnam Beauty, and Dr. Jung. She is also a Netflix regular and has appeared in "Love Alert" and the 2020 horror hit "Sweet Home."

Tess is a member who cheers everyone up with her jokes and songs. She also has a crush on her friend's sister, who turns out to be Hari, a bow and arrow shooter.

Lim Jae-hyuk debuted in an obscure role in the 2020 drama "Alice" before his breakout role in "Death Penalty for All."

Guinam is a bully who makes it through the first wave of zombies and discovers a way to kill them (a knife to the carotid artery works). He then declares himself to be the school boss, saying, "Anyone who doesn't listen to me dies."

"Death Penalty for All" is Yoo In-soo's second Netflix k-drama following "Love Alert" Season 1; since his debut in 2017, he has also appeared in "Strong Woman Do Bong-soon," "School 2017," "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" and "Far Away but Spring is Green."

A member of her school's archery club, Hari is an avid athlete who has been practicing for years in hopes of making the Korean national team. She was on her way back to school after losing a regional match when the zombie outbreak struck. She ends up looking for her younger brother Woo-jin.

Ha Seung-ri made her acting debut in the 2002 film Ardor, and has since appeared in the dramas Producers, School 2017, Search: WWW, and King: The Eternal Monarch.

Mi-jin is a senior in school who spends most of the show coveting cigarettes and worrying about college entrance exams. She is passionate and stubborn, and is in love with Hye-ri. [Rising star Lee Eun-seum debuted as a child actor in the 2007 drama "Scenes from My Heart." Since then, he has appeared in acclaimed dramas such as "The Miracle We Met" and last year's "Red Sleeve."

Eun-ji is a victim of bullying at school and hates the students at Hyosan High School who stand by and watch the bullying. She is attacked by zombies on the roof of her school.

"Death Penalty for All" was Oh Hye-soo's first starring role, and the 26-year-old actress made an impressive debut. She has yet to announce her next role.

Science teacher Lee is the first person to come in contact with the zombies, his own son. We later learn that the zombie virus was created from an experiment conducted by the teacher to help his son confront a bully.

Kim Byung-Cheol is a versatile actor, familiar from his role as the antagonist, the royal advisor goblin and his ultra-strict father, in "SKY Castle," for which he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the Baeksang Arts Awards. He has also appeared in Descendants of the Sun, Mr. Sunshine, and Sisyphus: The Myth.

An English teacher, Park was teaching a class of students when the outbreak began.

Lee Sang-hee is best known as a film actress, but has also appeared in dramas such as Life and Inspector Ikimono Section In 2017, she won the Baeksang Award for Best Newcomer for the romance film Our Love Story.

Onjo's father, So-joo, is a firefighter, and after a major fire that breaks out, he uses his skills from training to get the senator to safety. Of course, he hopes to use his skills to save his daughter.

He made his debut in 2004 in the drama "You Know. Since then, he has appeared in the hit films Stranger, Ghost Detective, King: The Eternal Monarch, and Mr. Queen.

When a virus begins to take over Hinoyama, firefighter So-ju is sent to rescue a team of government officials led by Hinoyama City Councilor Park Eun-hee. Upon arriving at the quarantine station, Park Eun-hee tries to save the uninfected citizens stranded in the city, but with martial law in place, she is in a better position than the military.

Actress Bae Hye-sun is probably familiar from hit dramas such as "While You Were Sleeping," "Hotel de Luna," "It's Not All Right Because It's Not All Right," and "Hometown Cha Cha Cha." She also recently appeared in another zombie drama, "Happiness," in which she played the role of Oh Yeonok, a sharp-edged representative of the residents.
