Who is Ianna in "Love is Blind" Season 2?

Clear your schedule, because five hours of your weekend will be spent on the couch, as the second season of Netflix's hit "Love is Blind" premiered on February 11, with five new episodes that show the beginnings of several love stories. Taking place in Chicago, the reality show features a variety of contestants who date in a famous pod and aim to find love and get married within a month.

One of the youngest contestants, Ianna, stands out with her hilarious and candid testimony and her inspiring life story. Here is what we know about her.

Ianna McNeely, 27, is a program coordinator who grew up in Georgia and now lives in Chicago. She has a degree in psychology from Kennesaw State University and works for an organization that helps connect couples with gestational surrogacy (open in new tab).

In response to a question about what her significant other should know about her during her career, she said, "The one aspect about me that could be annoying would be my goofiness. Some people think I am childish. I don't think so. Her goofiness is particularly evident in her testimony, for example, when she imagines "wonderful stories" to tell her children about meeting their father.

"I met your father in a social experiment where I dated 14 men," she says, and in a high-pitched voice says, "Sorry, what, Mom?" I add.

In her Instagram bio, Ianna writes, "Extraordinary adaptability. Remarkably introverted. Painfully wonderful." Although she admits to being a homebody on the show, many of her Instagram photos show her having fun with friends in Chicago and her former home of Providence, Rhode Island.

On the show, Ianna reveals that she grew up as an only child with a complicated childhood. After living with her mother and aunt, she was kicked out of her home when she was 18 and later adopted by her godmother when she was 22. 'There were so many things against me. I wasn't supposed to be this okay,' she says."
