Who is Javon "Wana" Walton of "Umbrella Academy" and "Hibike! Who is Javon "Wanna" Walton of "Euphonium"?

Netflix's superhero show Umbrella Academy is known for reinventing itself each season. Based on the comic book series by My Chemical Romance frontmen Gerard Way and Gabriel Barr, the show follows a dysfunctional family of heroes as they prevent the end of the world (usually after bringing it on themselves) in a new setting each season. With each new setting, the Umbrella Academy also adds several new cast members. One of the cast members joining in Season 3 is the HBO show "Hibike! Euphonium.

Javon "Wanna" Walton is a familiar face from the "Hibike! Euphonium" season 2 finale, joined the Umbrella Academy in a secret role earlier this year, shortly after the tragic fate of fan favorite character Ashtray. His fun character allows fans to see a new side of the 15-year-old boxer and actor. Here is what we know about this young star.

The 15-year-old star is also known for his role in the HBO hit "Hibike! Euphoria," he was already a big name in the boxing world when he got his big break as an actor playing Fesco's brother Ashtray. In a video for Seventeen, Walton recounted the casting process, saying he got the chance to audition after appearing on The Steve Harvey Show for Boxing. He went on to say that he got the role after only one audition and that "I was the only one who pronounced the name of the drug correctly."

He also said that he was "the only one who pronounced the name of the drug correctly.

He also said that "Hibike! Euphonium" was the biggest moment of his career, and that getting the role of Ashtray made him want to continue acting.

In a video for Seventeen (open in new tab), Walton said he is a boxer first, adding that he has been training for the sport since he was four years old and has been "punching couch pillows (since age two)." He also said he has logged over 80 matches and hopes to turn pro when he turns 18.

He has said in multiple interviews (and in his Instagram bio) that his dream is to become a world champion and is currently training for the 2024 Summer Olympics. His father DJ Walton is his trainer and his sister is also a boxer.

Walton's new character, Stan, is introduced in the first episode of season 3 when time jumper Lila (Ritu Arya) brings him to meet her ex-boyfriend of sorts, Diego Hargreaves, aka Number 2 (David CastaƱeda). Lila said, "I've raised you for 12 years, now it's Diego's turn," and abruptly left. Stan is around for the rest of the season as Diego and some of the other Umbrellas take care of him while trying to solve another apocalypse.

Walton's two roles could not be more different. Where Ashtray was stoic and calm, Stan is a curious troublemaker who likes to play with lighters, Molotov cocktails, and harpoons, with unfortunate results. He helps Diego when he gets into trouble. Ultimately, it turns out that there is more to the story than Lila told, but Stan and Diego get plenty of time to bond.

The Waltons have a large, tight-knit family. He is an identical twin, but fans say he looks almost identical to his brother Jayden (Jayden even understudied him during the filming of season 3). In addition to Jayden and his sister Jayla, Walton has a younger brother, Daero, who is also a member of the "Hibike! He also played the young Ashtray in Euphoria. His father, DJ, sometimes posts photos of the entire talented family on Instagram (opens in new tab).

Walton has been featured in "Hibike! Euphonium" will return for Season 3, but he is still super close with Cloud, who plays his brother Fezko on TV; in an interview with Page Six (opens in new tab), he said that he and Cloud are the closest of the Euphonium cast and are like brother and brother.
