Prince George excited to attend Wimbledon for the first time

Eight-year-old Prince George already has a rather enviable sports resume: he has trained with Roger Federer in tennis, sat in the box seats at English Premier League matches, and can now add "sitting in the royal box at Wimbledon" to that list. You can add to that list. [Prince William and Duchess Kate took their eldest son to watch the match between Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios. George, dressed in a smart suit, sat between his parents and watched the match with great enthusiasm.

According to the Daily Mail, the youngest son of the heir to the throne had quite a day at the stadium. Arriving with Kate, George was greeted by Wimbledon president Ian Hewitt, who shook George's hand. As they were escorted inside, George was reunited with Prince William, who gave his father a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.

When they finally took their seats in the royal box and the game began, Kate and William leaned over to their son and continued to explain the different aspects of the game and the different strategies the players would take. George listened intently throughout.

During the nail-biting moments, George seemed genuinely concerned about the outcome of the game. Nevertheless, it is perhaps not surprising that George already has a grasp of the game: Kate once revealed that George has been playing tennis since he was only four years old, and he also holds the title of patron of the Lawn Tennis Association.
