It's time for a new Liars. Five years after leaving Rosewood, the HBO Max reboot of Pretty Little Liars: The Original Sin) is finally here. The new series from Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoun Bling, writers of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, has a completely different feel than the original, with a new mystery, a small town setting of Millwood, Pennsylvania, a masked character named A and a group of high school girls tormented by a masked figure named A.

New elements include. In addition to the Liars' own secrets, their mothers have been hiding something bigger from them since they were students at Millwood High School. Meet the Liars and their parents, who are caught up in the A's motives.

Imogen's life changes drastically in the first episode when her mother dies mysteriously. She is determined to find out her mother's secret and what happened to her, while simultaneously dealing with her vindictive ex-friend Karen and being six months pregnant.

Madison began her career as a child actor, guest starring on shows such as Teen Nick and Disney's Unfaithful, Cory in the House, and The Wizard of Waverly Place. She also played young Snow White on ABC's Once Upon a Time and Callie's half-sister Sophia on Freeform's Fosters.

Tabby is an aspiring filmmaker, speaks in film terms, and works at a local movie theater. She is also Imogen's super-determined and loyal friend.

A California native, Kinney previously appeared on Nickelodeon's The Haunted Hathaways and K.C. Undercover, Amazon's Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street, and FOX's Lethal Weapon. She also appeared in Disney's Z-O-M-B-I-E-S series, playing Willa in the second and third films, and voiced Willa in the upcoming Re-Animated series.

Faran is a dapper ballerina who lives with her father while her mother works in Philadelphia. She is dedicated to her dance career, but her ballet life is full of microaggressions and mean girls (including Karen Beasley).

Zaria made her acting debut in an episode of the fifth season of Black-ish and has since appeared in Netflix's Dad Stop Embarrassing Me and Amazon's Bosch: Legacy. She also appeared in the Oscar-winning short film Two Distant Strangers.

Piles is a veteran TV actress, best known for her role as Zach Galifianakis' daughter in the FX comedy Baskets. She has also appeared on The CW's Batwoman, ABC's How to Get Away With Murder, and Freeform's The Fosters.

Noah is an unsociable track and field athlete who is working to get his life back on track after spending a summer in juvenile detention. She spends most of her time with her football player boyfriend, Sean.

Lefico previously appeared in Latin America on the Nickelodeon show Kally's Mashup. She is also a stage actress and has recently appeared in Next to Normal and Evita. She will soon co-star with Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke in the Netflix dark comedy Do Revenge.

Twins Karen Beasley and Kelly Beasley are the queen bees of Millwood High School. While Kelly is the twins' quiet sidekick, Karen is ostensibly hostile and becomes the bad guy for all the Liars.

A Houston native, Bechtel made her feature film debut in the horror film Hereditary, directed by Ari Aster. He also guest starred in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and FBI: Know Fear, a 2021 horror film.

Tabby's mother, Sydney, is a real estate agent who was friends with all the Liars' mothers at Millwood High School. After her mother dies, she takes Imogen in, but keeps a big secret from the Liars and the rest of the town that spans decades.

She made her television debut in 1996 on the long-running soap opera Guiding Light. She has since appeared on ABC's Private Practice, NBC's Grimm, The CW's Hellcats, and Supergirl. She has also appeared in the films This Christmas, Dreamgirls, and Why Did I Get Married.

Mouse's slightly overbearing mother Elodie is played by musical legend Salonga. She was the first Asian woman to win a Tony Award for her role in "Miss Saigon" and the first Asian woman to play Fantine and Eponine in "Les Miserables. A Disney legend, she is perhaps best known for her singing roles as Jasmine and Mulan in the animated films "Aladdin" and "Mulan."

Faran's mother, Cory, moved to Philadelphia after divorcing Faran's father, Zeke, but her life in the city may not be as impressive as she leads.

Pope is a Canadian actress who got her big break in 1999 on the WB series Popular. She has since had recurring roles on FOX's 24, USA Network's Suits, The CW's Arrow, and ABC's The Good Doctor.

Karen and Kelly Beasley's father is the town's overbearing sheriff who rules Millwood with an iron fist. Once he gets involved with the Liars, he makes it his life's mission to ruin the lives of five teenagers.

Johnson has extensive television experience, having appeared on ABC's "Rookie Blue," Cinemax's "The Nick," The CW's "Smallville," The History Channel's "Viking," and Starz's "American Gods."

Noah's boyfriend and popular jock Sean is played by Iono, who rose to fame as a popular singer and YouTuber. He has appeared in the Netflix film Finding Ohana and the DIsney+ series Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.

Tabitha's best friend Chip (a fellow movie buff who is secretly in love with her) is played by Florida-born singer and actor Roland. The Nickelodeon native starred in the series I Am Frankie and had a recurring role on the CBS series American Housewife. He is best known for playing Maddie Townsend's son Ty on the Netflix feel-good series Sweet Magnolias."
