Jennifer Lopez's Schiaparelli rose coat is made of hundreds of real petals.

Receiving a bouquet of well-kept roses from your sweetheart is every girl's dream, but what about receiving a coat of hundreds of roses from your favorite fashion house? For Jennifer Lopez, who traded a bouquet from Ben Affleck for a coat of rose petals custom-made for the star by Schiaparelli Creative Director Daniel Rosebery, it was a dream come true. Lopez wore the stunning floral outerwear on the fashion brand's Spring/Summer 2024 Couture runway, which kicked off this season's Couture Week in Paris with a collection inspired by cowboys and aliens.

During her runway presentation, Lopez stepped out of her style. While all of her outfits were stunning, the most eye-catching was, of course, the oversized white rose coat. Roseberry made this coat from live rose petals (!). . They are not dried; they are actually real."

First of all, our jaws are still on the floor. Secondly, one can only imagine how wonderful J.Lo's fragrance would smell surrounded by hundreds of real roses. 'I'm in a living work of art right now!' she added. The jacket is draped over her shoulders and untied to reveal the rest of her outfit.

Beneath Lopez's rose coat was the brand's skeleton trompe l'oeil knit, featuring exaggerated sleeves (resembling doves, the Italian house's iconic bird) and white satin pieces in the shape of a skeleton; in the center of J.Lo's turtleneck knit A hooked part is visible, and the back is decorated with keyhole rivets and a satin piece in the shape of a stem, meaning "backbone." This is a reference to the skeleton dress from the 1938 Circus Collection, designed in collaboration with Salvador Dali.

J.Lo is right: J.Lo is right: she is indeed wearing a living work of art!

Let's break down the rest of her look: the knit is in with black leggings and cinched with a white belt with gold details and a rock charm hanging from the belt loop. In contrast to the black leggings, velvet pumps boasted the Maison's gold keyhole emblem.

Wait for the applause! An iconic anatomy jewelry bag that looked like a human face (the epitome of spooky chic) was worn with the equally iconic Schiaparelli sunglasses. Her wet-effect mini-bob was the perfect accent, adding to the statuesque feel of her outfit and accessories.

It's official: Lopez is a surrealist Schiaparelli girl! And one request: show us more of J.Lo in bold looks like this one! Her Schiaparelli outfit expanded her A-list status tenfold, and it's no exaggeration to say that it's J.Lo's best look yet.
