Gomez walked the red carpet in a custom Oscar de la Renta strapless dress made of 450,000 stunning sequins. The singer and actress also wore a breathtaking Tiffany & Co. necklace with a 35-carat deep red gemstone. Gomez paired her dark red open-toed high heels with a dark red lip that matched the color of her gown.

Gomez attended the event with boyfriend Benny Blanco. In a series of Instagram posts, the "Only Murderers in the Building" star admitted that the two are dating in December 2023. He is absolutely everything in my heart," she wrote in a comment, to which another fan replied, "Then why is he the best thing that ever happened to me? "The two attended the 2024 Golden Globe Awards together earlier this year, making their red carpet debut. During the event, Gomez shared a photo of the two kissing on her Instagram Story; according to People, she captioned the post, "I won."

Her vampire-inspired red carpet look may have been a surprise to some, but it was far from shocking to those who watch Gomez's HBO Max show, Selena + Chef. In an episode of this hit cooking show, Gomez admits that she had an "emo period." (She also reveals in another episode that she had a crush on someone. So fun fact: Gomez is down to confess it to herself while learning to cook in the kitchen.) As a reformed emo kid, I'm all for this goth, vampire-inspired look from Gomez.
