Camila Morrone's Emmy-winning hair is a celebration of Italian glamour
Hairstyles can actually reveal a lot about an outfit. Camila Morrone's red carpet appearance at the Emmy Awards featured a long Versace custom red gown and a teased hairstyle that paid homage to the glamour of Italian fashion. The 22-year-old "Daisy Jones and Six Friends" was able to get celebrity hairstylist Bryce Scarlett, and made sure her hair looked fabulous as she hit the red carpet.
The hairstylist began by towel-drying her hair, then using his hands and a buttercup blow dryer to get the moisture out and lift the roots for volume.
"I applied Southern Belle's Volumizing Root Lifter at the roots and Southern Belle's Volumizing Mousse all over from the middle to the ends," Scarlett told Marie Claire exclusively. 'I used the Double Shot Oval Blow Dryer Brush to dry hair from the nape of the neck up, concentrating on creating lift.' Once he finished reaching the crown, he wanted to create more curl, so he parted and pinned each section of hair and let it cool down.
Big, gorgeous hair can look like a lot of secrets, but the celebrity hairstylist decided to backcomb the pinned sections and spray her hair with Rum Punch Strong Hold Volumizing Hairspray. He also finished off the volume with a flat mate boar bristle brush to "bring the volume down and create the desired shape."
I definitely want to try this hairstyle at my next girls' night out.
