'Yellowjacket' Cast Reunites in Style at the 2024 Emmys
After being delayed by the strike, the Emmys are finally here, reuniting favorite cast members from 2023's best shows for a very glamorous event. It is not often that we see the stars of The Yellow Jacket dressed up on the red carpet. But tonight, each actor arrived at the awards ceremony to celebrate the show's second season, which is nominated in three categories, including Outstanding Drama Series.
Christina Ricci was first on the carpet to represent the adult cast, sporting her signature edgy look. Her jet-black Saint Laurent gown had a wide open neckline, and she adorned her décolleté with a long diamond necklace with an emerald green pendant. She wore a matching emerald and diamond bracelet and ring and carried a black clutch bag with the YSL logo. Her hair was styled in a blunt bob with bangs and shimmering gold eye shadow.
Juliette Lewis shined on the carpet in a red sequin column gown with a matching sequin choker that tied into a large bow around her neck. She wore gold jewelry, including white, ruby, and gold drop earrings, and wore her hair in a high ponytail.
Lauren Ambrose was also bold in a flowing satin gown with a hummingbird, white, blue, and green floral pattern on a black background. She wore long handkerchief sleeves and a coordinating blue sash around her waist. She wore dainty pearl and diamond jewelry.
Sophie Nelis put an elegant spin on the naked dress trend, opting for a light beige gown with ruching along the torso and a one-shoulder neckline. Instead of a necklace, she wore diamond hoop earrings and rings, and added drama with a slicked-back bun and smoky red eye shadow.
Liv Hewson, on the other hand, wore wide pants and a lapel-less jacket, and her tailcoat was long enough to reach the ground. She wore no shirt and wore a round silver ornament down the middle of her bare torso. The Emmy appearance came after the nonbinary actor chose not to submit himself for an award nomination last year, citing the Television Academy's division of acting categories into male and female.
Jasmine Savoy Brown wore a lovely Givenchy gown made of a sheer light gray fabric. The flowing gown featured wispy white lace rising from the neckline, a backless bodice, slits to the thighs, and a long train. Strappy silver Jimmy Choo heels, a silver jeweled net bucket bag, and an array of jewelry by Mindy Mond and Dena Kemp completed the look.
Courtney Eaton went witchy in a black semi-sheer Jason Wu gown. The crisscross ruffled neckline with sheer cold-shoulder sleeves, sheer embroidery on the torso, and two long black ruffles on either side of the skirt formed a short train. She wore dainty diamond jewelry and fresh makeup on her romantic ponytail hair.
Samantha Hanratty was in a lovely blush pink strapless gown by Dolce & Gabbana. She wore Vley Diamond jewelry and wore her brunette hair in a bun with lightly curled bangs.
Sophie Thatcher also chose a colorful look for the red carpet, opting for a slinky olive green satin gown with a wide circular neckline, padded shoulders, and long sleeves. She did not wear a necklace and accessorized with pearl earrings and an emerald ring. She also wore her brunette hair in a loosely curled blow-dry.
Representing the male cast, Stephen Krueger, aka Coach Ben, looked dashing in a color-blocked tuxedo with a white jacket with black satin lapels and black pocket detailing, paired with pitch-black pants. He completed the look with a matching black turtleneck and dress shoes.
