Selena Gomez, founder of the one and only Rare Beauty, tends to pull out all the beauty stops for the red carpet. Usually that means glowing skin, the occasional smoky eye, and once in a blue moon, a new hairstyle. But at the 2024 Emmy Awards, this multi-hyphenate has thrown us a bit of a beauty curveball. The star of "Only Murderers in the Building" appeared quite vampy, with lips and eyes that were a mix of red and purple.

I dug deeper (as beauty editors do), and if I had to guess, I'd say her lips are a shade called Strong in Kind Words Matte Lipstick. This lipstick has intense color (see these photos for proof) and a long-lasting finish.

Gomez's nails are a similar shade, thanks to the handiwork of self-proclaimed "manicurist" Tom Bacic. According to his Instagram Stories, he used PLA Nails gel polish "Can't Tell Anyone," Tweezerman tools, Chanel's Le Blanc, and of course, Rare Beauty's new Find Comfort Hydrating Hand Cream".

The latter is a brand new companion and one of four new body products released." This is a dream we've been warming up to for a while. The "Single Now" singer said at an exclusive press conference, "Now is the time. We're finished and proud of it."

The hand cream, along with the rest of the line, was designed to smell like a "warm hug" with notes of sparkling lemon zest, soft jasmine, and smooth cashmere wood.
