An Early Spring on the 2024 Emmy Awards Red Carpet

It's 20 degrees in New York City, but in downtown Los Angeles, spring is in bloom on the Emmy Awards red carpet. Some of television's biggest stars are taking advantage of the spring weather and donning looks from the Spring 2024 collection for tonight's 2024 Awards.

Given that winter fashions are still in full swing with the bitter cold across the United States, tonight's floral trend provided a bright spot on the carpet. Not only did flowers appear in all colors and sizes, but many of tonight's most spectacular blooms popped out of the dresses they adorned. In her first appearance on the Emmy carpet Wednesday, Jenna Ortega eschewed a vampire character costume, instead opting for a Dior Haute Couture tea-length gown adorned with pint-sized, pastel-colored flowers.

The three stars of nominated drama The White Lotus followed suit. Best friends Simona Tabasco and Beatrice Granno also had mini twinning moments with flowers at the show. Tabasco wore an oversized and patchwork gown by MARNI, while Granno wore a black gown by ARMANI PRIVÉ COUTURE with an abundance of sequined red roses. Megan Fahey's burgundy Armani gown had a small rosette at the bust, but hers had no sequins. Nearly all the stars wore shades of red on the carpet.

Alex Borstein of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel wore a black and red lace gown with dramatic satin flowers around her face. As they say, "Three in a room make a wise man. As the carpet was coming to an end, Catherine Hahn showed up in a very small flower on a sheer black skirt. Pedro Pascual's all-black ensemble featured a floral pattern on a very fashionable sling.
