Ali Wong made history at Monday's Emmy Awards by becoming the first Asian woman to win the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Anthology Series or Movie for her work on the Netflix drama "Beef."

Wong's latest award follows a string of historic wins this awards season, including the Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series, Anthology Series, or Movie ("Beef") According to NBC News, she is the first Asian American to win this award.

Wong paid tribute to her family in her Emmy acceptance speech, saying, "I would not be standing here without my parents, my wonderful parents, my mother and father, the people I wish had lived to share this moment with. My hilarious father, who loved me unconditionally and taught me the importance of making mistakes."

He added, "I am so thankful for the support I have received from my family, and I am grateful for their support.

At Sunday's Critics' Choice Awards, Wong won the award for best actress in a limited series or film for television.

Styled by Tara Swennen, Wong looked stunning in a forest green semi-sheer Givenchy gown adorned with floral motifs and accessorized with jewelry by Jared Atelier.

Hairstyled by Clayton Hawkins, her long hair was styled in luscious waves and backed with a black ribbon bow.

Finally, Wong's makeup was by Danielle Martin, with dramatic blue eyes as the defining feature. Inspired by her dress, a blue gradient was applied while adding a twist to the straight, smoky eye. This created a fun moment through Ali's glasses, but without creating too much drama with her makeup."
