Riley Keough's date to the 2024 Emmy Awards is none other than her very famous grandmother Priscilla Presley.

Whatever it is, this is a lovely thing to do, but it made extra sense for the two women to attend the awards ceremony together, given that their relationship has been in some sort of tangle for the past few months.

The drama began when Lisa Marie Presley, Riley's mother and Priscilla's daughter, died in January 2023. Lisa Marie left Elvis Presley's estate to Riley and her brother Benjamin, removing Priscilla and business manager Barry Siegel as co-trustees. Benjamin died by suicide in 2020.

As reported by CNN, Priscilla legally challenged the 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie's will. Unsurprisingly, the move caused a lot of tension between Priscilla and Riley, but the two women finally reached a settlement in May 2023. [Priscilla's lawyer said at the time, "The family is happy. Everyone is happy, united, together, and excited about the future."

A source told Us Weekly around the same time, "Riley and Priscilla are at peace in their relationship after a very stressful ordeal surrounding Lisa Marie's trust and estate. There have been many back-and-forths, but they have reached a middle ground where they can be happy together."

Riley and Priscilla attended the Emmy Awards to celebrate the 34-year-old actress' nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Anthology Series or Movie for "Daisy Jones & the Six."

Although Priscilla was not nominated, the recently released Sofia Coppola biopic, for which Priscilla served as executive producer, has been making the media rounds recently.
