The Palace apparently fears that Prince Harry will write a "spare" sequel or that Meghan Markle will write her own memoir.
Prince Harry has said himself that he has enough material for a second volume of his best-selling memoir, Spare.
In The Making of a King: King Charles III and the Modern Monarchy, Robert Hardman writes that the Palace is not only concerned about Harry's second book, but also about Meghan Markle's own A year ago this month, Spare was published by Penguin Random House as part of a four-book deal with the Sussexes.
"For the Palace, the most worrisome aspect of the book was the omission of large chunks of more recent events," Hardman wrote in his book, which was released January 18. It has not gone unnoticed that Harry and Meghan's wedding, their married life, and eventual departure from the royal world are only a small part of Prince Harry's memoir, less than one-fifth of the book." This suggests that a sequel, or perhaps a memoir by Princess Meghan, will eventually be published."
The "Prince Harry" memoir is "a very interesting and interesting book.
Speaking to The Telegraph after the release of Spare, Harry said, "There could have been two books. He also said that the final draft was twice as long as the one that actually hit store shelves, with Spare being 416 pages. Said Harry, "It was 800 pages, now it's 400."
The Palace need not worry that some of their family relationships (or lack thereof) will make it into print. There are things, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent my father, that I don't want the world to know. Because I don't think they will forgive me."
"Spare" sold an astounding 3.2 million copies in its first week of publication and 1.4 million copies on its first day alone, according to The Sun.
