Legendary Hollywood star Anthony Hopkins is a TikTok favorite, albeit a TikTok favorite.

Unlike the heavyweight role he played in the movie, "Silence of the Lambs," Hopkins prefers a lighter mood on social media.

However, as he himself admits, Hopkins is not always super excited about posting online.

Speaking to People, Hopkins explained that it was his wife and niece who first encouraged him to get into TikTok.

"I'm a little reluctant. I'm like, 'Here we go again. But I do silly things because I need humor. I need laughter in my life. There's a reason for that. Life is tough. The world is savage, but there is beauty in life."

He also said, "I try not to play up my age. I am 86 years old. So I've subverted that. The truth is I am 68 years old." For his sake and for ours.

Hopkins, known for his many legendary roles in "Hannibal," "Mask of Zorro," and "Thor," has three projects in the works, according to iMDb.
