Fact: Dressing for snow is different than just dressing for cold weather. In snowy conditions, our attire naturally favors functionality over fashion. Unless, of course, you're a celebrity in Aspen. From Mariah Carey to Rihanna to Kendall Jenner, everyone is making a sartorial statement during the holidays in Colorado, despite the cold. Lucky for us, the wintry looks continue: Kendall Jenner is back in town, and the 28-year-old is wearing a Bottega Veneta mini dress with heels (!) She didn't even wear a coat (!!!!). and snow fluttering on her bare shoulders (!!!). She looked like a snow princess strolling the streets.

Like a model, she turned the snowy streets of Aspen into a Bottega Veneta runway show for an iconic winter photo shoot. The star of her look was a dress from Bottega Veneta's Fall/Winter 2023 collection, featuring off-the-shoulder white furry detailing on the bodice and bouclé textures throughout. Thankfully, Jenner wore black translucent tights underneath (we hope they were at least fleece-lined) and paired them with black pointed-toe heels. She wore her hair in a sleek, slicked-back bun and kept her makeup glossy.

Jenner was already perfectly beautiful as she walked through the falling snow. But I can't help but feel a motherly concern for her, telling her not to leave the house without a coat. Or at least the jacket! And we have to wonder. Was she cold? Is this another Bottega Veneta campaign? Were her shoes ruined?

Regardless of the secondary cold we feel, Jenner's moment in the snow in her Bottega dress and heels captures the essence of not caring that we can't get enough.

In LA, we see Jenner's usual look, composed of quiet luxury brands and dressed for West Coast weather. In Aspen, on the other hand, Jenner seems to be leaning more maximalist and establishing a new fashion identity that is not afraid to take risks. You may remember the $27,000 Phoebe Philo coat she wore over winter break after her reported relationship with Bud Bunny (the Revenge Dress?) Unlike her usual rotation on The Row and Khaite, she's wearing a geometric Rick Owens puff in her outlandish shades and styling.

Is her winter dressing practical? We don't recommend taking style risks when the weather is unpredictable. But if anything, Jenner's Aspen wardrobe proves that she is a fashion chameleon who will try anything once.
