Sophie Turner is an underrated style star in our eyes. Whether she's having a night out with the girls or running errands in town, Turner has recently adopted an effortlessly chic approach. Last night, the "Game of Thrones" actress pushed her "comfortable fashion" even further when she was spotted on a date dressed in an unlikely but surprisingly fashionable outfit.

On Thursday night, Turner was photographed in New York City's Central Park with her newly determined aristocratic beau, Peregrine "Perry" Pearson. There she is wearing a long camel-colored coat by Maison Margiela with his arm wrapped around her shoulders like a scarf (!). She is wrapped around him.

But it is not the designer's coat, nor the couple's union, that intrigues us. It is Turner's choice of shoes that makes us do a double-take. Of all the shoes she could have worn on a date night stroll through the park, the actress chose UGG slippers and slouchy white socks.

There's a lot to touch on here: first, Turner always favors understated, luxe fashion when she's off the clock; in December, she elevated her sneakers and sweats with a biker-core leather jacket.

But back to UGGs. Turner is not the only celebrity who loves the fashion world's favorite chunky shoe. While they are a seasonal must-have for millions of people (myself included), a number of stars are dressing up the rather casual shoes. Last week, Dua Lipa was in the studio for "Late Night with Seth Meyers" in an iconic $12,000 Hermes Birkin bag paired with a pair of UGGs x Palace patch-embroidered Tazz slippers.

Well, there are countless ways to rock UGGs, and thanks to our must-see stars, they have given us loads of inspiration to keep us going this winter. If, like me, you're sick of wearing UGGs with baggy T-shirts and sweatpants (although it's not that bad of an outfit), look no further than the A-listers themselves. After all, if these ladies endorse a particular look, it's worth giving it a try. The key to her latest #OOTN, it seems, is not to overthink it, opting instead for practicality (attention!). .
