Jennifer Lopez's slouchy white boots will be the biggest boot trend of 2024.

[There is no need to have a large collection of boots. A pair of boots, whether lug-soled, knee-high, or ankle-length styles, can survive the chill of the season and be wearable all year round (not many other shoes can say the same!) It's no surprise that every year around the winter months a new type of boot starts to come into vogue. This year, Jennifer Lopez's slouchy boots were culled from the 2010 style book.

Lopez was photographed celebrating the launch of her low-alcohol cocktail brand Delola at the popular Los Angeles club The Abbey (which you may have seen on Vanderpump Rules). She chose a matching turtleneck and midi skirt from Fendi's Spring 2024 collection for the occasion, which featured an orange, cream, and black "F" Fendi motif throughout. She accessorized with Paris Texas white slouchy knee-high boots for the occasion.

The rest of her accessories were fairly simple, allowing the boots to be the main focus of the look. Jenny from the block opted for a wine-colored croc-effect clutch bag by Tom Ford, gold hoop earrings by Jennifer Fisher, and large tortoiseshell sunglasses by Otra.

For makeup, Lopez wore her brown hair in tousled waves and a glossy nude lip with soft, bronzy makeup. A brown nail polish to match the dress was another thoughtful detail.

Slouchy boots have a bad reputation - perhaps because they remind us of other undesirable slouchy styles of the 2010s - but that doesn't mean we can't try a pair in 2024. These roomy boots are comfortable for those with wide calves and are less painful to put on and take off than super-tight-fitting styles.

The slouchy silhouette adds a fun texture to an outfit like Lopez's, giving it more dimension.
