Emma Stone applies to be a contestant on this popular game show every year, but keeps getting turned down.
At only 35 years old, Emma Stone has fulfilled quite a few dreams. First, an Academy Award for Best Actress (for her role in La La Land). This week, she received Golden Globe nominations for Best Motion Picture and Best Television Performance and won Best Actress for her role in the film "Poor Things." She has acted on Broadway, found lasting love, and started a family. But what has kept her from her dreams so far is appearing on "regular" Jeopardy (not the celebrity version of the popular game show).
"I'm sorry, I don't want to be on Celebrity Jeopardy," Stone said on a recent episode of Variety's "Awards Circuit" podcast." I really want to earn my stripes."
Stone is such a Jephardy superfan that she takes notes while watching every night (!) explained that he has yet to receive a callback, despite his continued efforts to apply every year.
"I would love to be on the real Jeopardy," she said. 'But you have to take a test, and you can only take it once a year with your own e-mail address. So you take the quiz every June, and the quiz doesn't tell you how well you did. And you take the quiz every June, but the quiz doesn't tell you your results. So guess what happens?
They're Jeopardy producers! You are wasting a great opportunity. Let the woman's dream come true! She takes her prep seriously. 'I watch it every night and keep track of how many I get right. I swear, I could be on Jeopardy." She adds, perhaps unsurprisingly, "It's my dream. It's my dream."
What is a $500 "Obvious Yes?"
