Kelly Ripa has already chosen her funeral dress. She is afraid that her husband Mark Consuelos will dress her "crazy" if she doesn't.
[Kelly Ripa has apparently already picked out her own funeral dress so that husband Mark Consuelos doesn't make a "crazy" choice and bury her with something unacceptable, Us Weekly magazine reports."I'm so afraid if he has to eulogize me," Ripa said on yesterday's episode of their joint talk show, Kelly and Mark Live. 'First of all, the funeral would be a buffet of all the things I hate. Deviled eggs, chicken wings, glasses of milk."
Then Consuelos jumped in to warn Lipa against making fun of his memorial decision." Hey, watch out, I'm going to have to dress you up, too," he joked. 'Be a good boy, or I'll make you dress like a hell of a lot! .
But Lipa is already three steps ahead of her husband of 27 years, having already picked out a funeral dress, which is displayed in her closet with the label. It's a black Dolce & Gabbana dress," she says. It's 10 years old. It's elegant. It's gorgeous, black, and pretty.
She explained her decision to choose her own funeral dress on a March 2016 episode of "Live": referring to Michael, the oldest of Consuelos' three children, Ripa said, "The only reason I thought about what I wanted to be buried in was because I fainted once ... . after I had my first child," she said. 'I passed out and my husband called 911. My husband helped me get dressed (until the paramedics arrived). I remember when they put me on the stretcher, I had to put a sheet over my head because I didn't want them to see me dressed like this."
Ripa jokingly added that she would "rather die now" than be seen by the world wearing the sweatpants Consuelos chose, a green leotard, and "red pumps." (I mean it," Lipa said. ) "When I was rushed to the emergency room ...... the nurses decided that I must have been unconscious because of the way I was dressed. So [in the emergency room] they gave me priority and chose my funeral clothes."
May it be sound logic and may that funeral be a long, long time from now.
