Earlier this month, Selena Gomez posted a throwback image on her Instagram Story of her and close friend Nicola Peltz Beckham celebrating the year 2023. She captioned the photo, which shows the two dressed in white dancing together on a boat, "Miss you." In another Instagram Story from the same day, Gomez re-shared a post about Peltz Beckham's upcoming film "Lola," which is also her directorial debut, with the caption, "Proud friend."

According to People, Gomez and Peltz Beckham were last seen together on December 3, when she attended the Academy Museum Gala with Peltz Beckham's husband, Brooklyn Beckham.

Now, for Peltz Beckham's 29th birthday (January 9), Gomez threw a pajama-themed party with boyfriend Benny Blanco. In a photo posted yesterday on Instagram, People reports that Gomez entertained guests at what appeared to be her home, while Blanco served delicious food.

"I am so thankful for all the beautiful and kind people in my life," Peltz Beckham wrote on Instagram. 'My best friends threw me a surprise pajama night for my birthday and we played games (my heaven!).' . Thank you so much for making me feel so loved. And thank you Benny for making the best food, and thank you and Sel for hosting us."

In one of the photos, Gomez and Peltz Beckham embraced, joined by Gomez's sister, 10-year-old Gracie Elliott Teefey. The friends all wore matching black pajamas with white trim, and other photos show an enlarged group attending the party (which looks truly heavenly). Other photos showed what appeared to be a large birthday cake for Peltz Beckham, topped with an enlarged pink photo of her face, with a light pink iced rose on the side and a plaque that read "Happy Birthday Nicola."

In an Instagram story of her party shared by Peltz Beckham, guests gathered in the kitchen singing the customary "Happy Birthday" as Gomez lit the birthday cake. Peltz Beckham added the caption, "I love you guys so much." Om I am so clumsy," she jokingly added.

Gomez's hosting duties with boyfriend Blanco come a week after the two debuted as a couple at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.
