Now that the year is over, I can officially declare: in 2023, no one showed more of their beauty A-game than Cardi B. And as we enter 2024, I am happy to announce that nothing has changed. We will still have the same Cardi in the new year.

At the end of 2023 (and the beginning of 2024!) ), the 31-year-old pulled out all the stops, combining our favorite glamorous elements of that year into the perfect last/first look. Skinny brows, contacts, and a deep side part. And we have to talk about the stiletto manicure.

On Monday, January 1, the "Bongos" rapper performed at Fontainebleau in Miami and posted a series of New Year's Eve photos on Instagram of her and estranged husband Offset out on the town.

She captioned them "What's love got to do wit it?" and added a winking emoji.

In the first photo, the New Yorker is shown head-to-toe in a tight dress by Sergio Castagno Pena. Standing against a wall and glancing over her shoulder, this pose is ideal for showing off her hairstyle. Styled with a deep (and sharp) side part, her back-to-brunette locks were pressed into voluminous, romantic curls by hairstylist Mia Thompson aka Tokyo Styles.

Cardi wore skinny eyebrows (a recent favorite look, first worn for her Balenciaga runway debut in early December), major lashes, bright blue contact lenses (reminiscent of the gray eyes she wore last week), and rocked a full face of Pat McGrath Labs makeup, expertly applied by celebrity makeup artist Erica La Pearl.

Moving further down the look, we come face to face with a fresh stiletto manicure with the dazzling shine only a Cardi B manicure can provide.

The mother of two first showed off this manicure a few days before New Year's Eve, posting a photo from her jet to her Instagram story. Painted in soft pink, the mile-long stiletto nails by manicurist Jenny Bui are covered in gems and bijoux in the shape of a French manicure. Yes, they look sharp enough to pierce an olive.

"Ringing in the New Year with a successful bling set for Cardi B," Bui wrote on Instagram. 'Wanna hear about behind the scenes? Cardi was busy, busy, busy and didn't have that much time, but I always do my best for my daughter! I started nailing her from the house, to the car, to the airport. I think I did a great job on the go, how about you?" Every stone was placed with love.

Thank you, Cardi, for starting 2024 in the best possible way for us. If this is our beginning, I can only imagine what awaits us in that year.
