Halle Berry brings trademark confidence to 2024, but leaves pants behind

If you thought Halle Berry wouldn't continue her confident and sexy Instagram posts in the new year, you'd (thankfully) be wrong. Berry welcomed 2024 in a layered black lace bodysuit, oversized gold blazer, heels, heart pendant and gold chain. 'Heels for 2024!' she captioned.

Berry reflected on 2023 in an Instagram video, writing, "The story just keeps getting better and better, and I'm so proud to be a part of it. The video included clips from her trip, photos from events she attended (including the 2023 Oscars), and moments with boyfriend Van Hunt. A source told People this August that Hunt, whom Berry has been dating since 2020, is her "dream man" and that she "feels so lucky to share her life with him." She added, "He is incredible. He treats her like a queen. She calls him her 'soul mate,' and they love to travel, spend time at her Malibu beach house, and play with their kids."

Berry took off her bottoms more than once on social media last year, proving that we didn't leave the pantsless craze behind in 2023. And at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia last month, he seemed to be wearing exactly this New Year's outfit, albeit with pants on.

Along with her incredible beauty, 2024 will see her starring and co-producer credits in the action thriller "Maude v Maude" with Angelina Jolie. The film is titled Mission: This is the first time Berry and Jolie have worked together on screen, but the pairing is off to a good start, Berry told Variety.

"We got off to a rocky start," Berry said. And I think that bodes well for us in the time we're on screen together." Berry added, "I'm excited to work with another woman and create a story with our sensibilities, from our point of view. She is formidable. She added that the story of their "rocky start" is a "good one," but did not elaborate. We used to talk a lot about our divorces and exes." We bonded, let's put it that way."
