Emma Stone spotted her ex-boyfriend Andrew Garfield at a recent premiere and was literally thrilled!
Running into an ex-lover may be super awkward for us mere mortals, but not for Emma Stone.
The "Easy A" star recently spotted her ex-boyfriend Andrew Garfield in the audience at the premiere of her film "Poor Things" and seemed very excited.
In footage that went viral on social media a few weeks ago, Stone was seen gleefully pointing in Garfield's direction (at least according to an amateur videographer).
"We love our supportive friends," the poster wrote.
"I've always loved the way they love us," one commented.
Stone and Garfield met on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man" in 2010, began dating a short time later, and eventually split once and for all in 2015, according to People.
Since then, however, the two have often hung out at various places, supporting each other in their respective superstar endeavors. So it is no surprise that the British actor came to support Stone at the screening of Poor Things.
In fact, the two are so close that Garfield once told The Hollywood Reporter a few years after their breakup that he would take her to a desert island if that ever happened.
Meanwhile, back in 2016, Stone called Garfield "someone I still love very much," indicating the depth of their continuing friendship and bond.
Recently, Stone married comedian Dave McCurry, with whom she has a little girl, according to ELLE magazine.
Garfield was reportedly dating Alyssa Miller and Phoebe Daimber in 2022, but appears to be single.
