Lindsay Lohan talks about her first holiday season with her newborn son, Luai.
Since giving birth to her first child, Luaye, last July, Lindsay Lohan has had little time for Freaky Friday body swaps or even Instagram posts.
However, Lohan wanted to give her fans a belated Christmas present, so she has been sneaking out Christmas and New Year's Eve.
On Instagram, she shared photos from throughout the Christmas season, writing, "Wishing everyone a blessed year. May it be filled with love, health, peace, and happiness! Filled with gratitude."
The first photo is a gorgeous selfie of the actress standing in front of a decorated Christmas tree. Next is a glimpse into married life, with Lohan and husband Bader Shammas smiling at each other.
The remaining five photos show the famous Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, in the midst of its annual fireworks display. (Rohan and her family live in Dubai, and Rohan has called Dubai home since 2014.)
The actress has stepped back from the public eye in recent years, appearing only for a Walmart commercial for "Mean Girls" earlier this year, a few Netflix movies, and the occasional personal update to fans.
One such update occurred in 2022, when Rohan revealed that she had married Shammath, a financier; another such update occurred in July 2023, when Rohan broke the news of the birth of her son Ruai. Ruai means "shield, protector" in Arabic, giving the name a special feeling.
Rohan has not published any photos of her son, perhaps to contrast with her own camera-filled youth, but she did publish a shot of her nautical-themed nursery in Architectural Digest magazine.
She also explained her choice of decor: "I feel very at home by the ocean, and I wanted to create a space where my little one and I could share that feeling," she said.
