From ambition to cosmetic views, there is nothing wrong with being soft. The latter is a lesson the Jenner sisters are taking to heart in 2024, and they share photos to prove it.

On Wednesday, January 3, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner each shared a series of photos on their Instagram accounts that burst with soft-girl energy. If you need a refresher on the trend, soft girl beauty is an effortless, feminine, sweet take on natural makeup. Glowing skin, freckles, rosy blush, and mascara to finish it off. In both selfies, the girls look like they're on a tropical vacation. The owner of Kylie Cosmetics is standing on the deck of a boat, the warm sun hitting her face at just the right angle to enhance her glossy lips and freckles. Meanwhile, the founder of 818 Tequila poses with a glass of white wine in her hand, showing off the same juicy lip look (albeit a slightly mauve-ish color) and freckles on her nose. Now let's take a look at their dark eyebrows, thick eyelashes, and eye shape. They have never looked more like sisters.

Kendall has always favored understated glamour, but her sister has been adopting that style more and more lately. Last August, Kylie once again showed off her freckles in a photo, her dark hair flowing in a natural wavy texture.

"It's the era of the soft girl," fans commented on the post, echoing with comments today such as "The era of the soft girl gives me life."

And while the KHY designer's recent post was less captioned ("2024," she wrote), her sister, the eternal soft girl champion, decided to share a longer message.

"The years are flying by and seeming to go faster and faster. Existence and time are all I can ask for, 2024, shower me with love and laughter, gratitude and growth, patience and presence."

And freckles. Let this trend continue, please.
