Destiny's Child Reunites with Joy Backstage at Renaissance Tour

Excuse me, is it 2001 again? Because I am staring at a photo of five members of Destiny's Child posing with peace and rock-on signs.

It is now 2024 and this photo is from 2023, but that doesn't make it any less special. A Destiny's Child reunion could happen, albeit only for one night.

Letoya Luckett posted this photo on her Instagram with the caption:

"✨ALL LOVE✨

This was by far my favorite moment of 2023 ❤️

-love

-joy

-prayer

-Healing

May we all experience such beautiful moments in 2024

All of the Chilren."

The photo shows Luckett, Beyonce, Latavia Roberson, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. The only member missing is Farrah Franklin, who joined the group after Roberson and Luckett left.

From their silver outfits, it is easy to guess where they are. Only Beyonce is wearing black.

This photo was most likely taken at the Houston stop of the tour. This reunion shot is also included in Reinassance: a film by Beyoncé.

This may be the first time the five have been photographed together again, but it is not the only time they have recently seen each other.

All five were spotted and photographed at the Los Angeles premiere of the concert film. Although they were not photographed together, all members of the successful girl band took to social media to celebrate the film's release and send love to their Grammy-winning best friends.

Can we expect a Destiny's Child reunion?

Well, the last Destiny's Child lineup of Beyoncé, Rowland, and Williams made several special appearances and performances, including the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show and when Beyoncé headlined at Coachella in 2018. The band has reunited.

While it seems unrealistic to expect them to work together on an entire album, especially given the direction of Beyoncé's career, there is no denying that they could contribute a song or feature other members on a single from her next album.

Perhaps in 2026, on the 25th anniversary of "Survivor," they might do an updated version or perform together.
